MSI began providing security services to clients in April of 2003. At the time, its directors set out to create a community-centric security corporation. Their primary goal was to establish a corporately, financially, socially, and environmentally responsible entity that could service the security needs of Northern Ontario, with a primary focus on North Bay and its surrounding areas. Since that time, MSI has continued to grow exponentially. MSI’s success is a direct result of its strong reputation founded firmly on trust, dedication, and commitment.

MSI is licenced by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services to provide private security services in Ontario. We are also a registered training entity offering the Ministry approved Basic Security Guard Training course.

Over the past decade, we have focussed our efforts on developing a strong presence and reputation within Northern Ontario. When MSI opened, we primarily offered property protection services to our clients. Initially focussing on performing patrol, access control, alarm response, and key holding services, MSI has since greatly expanded the services we offer.

Over the past 6 years, MSI has become an expert in special event security. Whether providing security for private functions or large-scale special events, MSI is equipped to ensure all aspects of your event’s security are considered and planned for.

In the past 2 years, MSI has refocused its efforts on developing its Loss Prevention services. We offer specifically tailored services to meet every individual client’s needs, considering the challenges they face, their policies, and their preferences.

We are currently expanding service provision to other parts of the province. Our client list is incredibly diverse and includes a range of residential, retail, commercial, corporate, industrial, and government clients. We treat every client as though they were our only client. We offer every client the attention and focus they deserve.

We ensure our guards are properly trained and fully knowledgeable on all aspects of private security legislation, on legal authorities granted to private security personnel, on social issues that impact and affect you, and on the equipment and skills needed to provide you with the protection you deserve.
